Jam made from an ancient variety of figs, imported in the eighteenth century from a noblewoman from Macerata. The extreme delicacy of the ripe fruit is revealed in the soft consistency in chunks, with its typical grains. Excellent in combination with white meats and delicate blue cheeses, such as sweet gorgonzola.
